The Catalina JazzTrax Festival

The Catalina JazzTrax Festival, now in its 37th year, is one of the longest running smooth jazz festivals in the country.

Catalina JazzTraz is produced and created by visionary Art Good.

The Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival features a diverse lineup of renowned jazz artists and musicians, spanning various sub-genres of jazz such as smooth jazz, contemporary jazz, and traditional jazz. Attendees can expect performances that showcase the rich and dynamic range of jazz music. The festival attracts high-caliber jazz musicians and bands, offering attendees the opportunity to enjoy world-class performances. Jazz enthusiasts can witness live music from both established and emerging artists.

JazzTrax is held every October for two consecutive weekends. Attendees can enjoy Thursday night Outdoor Under the Stars at Descanso Beach Club or event Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the historic ballroom at the 1929 art deco Catalina Casino building.
