2017 Catalina Island Visitors Guide Debuts

The fully updated 2017 Visitors Guide is the essential trip planning tool for all visitors to Catalina Island.  The 76 page includes detailed information on hotels, attractions, restaurants and tours available on the island.  Expanded areas of coverage this year include more information on weddings and meetings facilities.  Produced by Mix Marketing the guide is available in both hard copy and digital versions.  Hard copies will begin being distributed later this week with the digital version online shortly.

Urban Adventure Quest has added two new adventures on Catalina Island, a new walking tour and a new golf cart tour, bringing the total up to five scavenger hunt options. Both of the new tours include completely unique clues and challenges. So if you’ve played any of our original games, you now have two new options from which to choose.

Your ALL New amazing scavenger hunt adventure walking tour will begin on the Green Pleasure Pier and will take you on a journey through Avalon’s rich history and among some of its lesser-known treasures. Catalina Walking 2 has all new games, challenges and fun locations for your team to explore.  This walking tour is 2 miles and take about 2 hours.  Points of Interest include: the Green Pleasure Pier, Downtown Avalon, Waterfront areas, the Casino, Time Capsule and Avalon Canyon.

 

Catalina Golf Cart 2 is completely different from the original golf cart Quest. Your amazing scavenger hunt adventure will begin in the center of Avalon with the rental of an island touring golf cart for use in a mobile adventure. Your Quest route will take you through the foothills, along the shoreline and past great harbor lookouts as you locate and complete your challenges. Teams will spend two hours in their golf carts making their way through Avalon, out to the Casino and up and down the hills surrounding the city. Points of interest include: the Water Front, Mt. Ada, the Casino, City Park and the Ferry Terminal.
