Movies at the Museum – Catalina Caper (1967)

June 20, 2018

This annual summer program takes advantage of the Catalina Island Museum’s outdoor amphitheater and Avalon’s beautiful summer nights.  Catalina Island and magic are the main themes for this summer’s film series. The first selection is Catalina Caper, about a scroll that is stolen from a Los Angeles museum and taken to Catalina Island. The thieves plan to use it to swindle a Greek art collector – showing him the real one and then delivering a fake – until a group of teens set out to foil their plans.
