AVALON, Catalina Island, CA – Hotel Villa Portofino, one of Catalina Island’s loveliest boutique hotels, wants to show off some of the estimated 28,000 Gray whales that pass by the Island on their annual migration south, with a package that runs from January 1, 2011 - March 31, 2011, Saturday and Sundays only. The trip scheduled from 12:30pm - 2:30pm, is with Catalina Ocean Rafting aboard one of their Coast Guard approved vessels.  The package, which starts at $188.50 per person based on double occupancy, offers savings of $20.00 per couple and includes:

• R/T Boat Transportation from Long Beach or Dana Point via the Catalina Express 
• R/T Taxi Transfers
• Continental Breakfast
• Two Hour Whale Watching Trip aboard Catalina Ocean Rafting

Room upgrades and extra nights are available at an additional charge. Children under 5 years of age and pregnant women are unable to participate.
