FREE Birthday Travel
Catalina Express Celebrates their 30th Anniversary by Giving a Free Pass to Anyone Who Wants to go to Catalina on their Birthday!
Catalina Express, commemorating its 30th Birthday, is giving away a free pass to anyone who wants to go to Catalina on his or her birthday, effective May 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012 for travel from all of Catalina Express’ ports. Travel must begin on actual birthday, subject to availability, and return must be completed within 30 days. All interested passengers have to do is pre-register online at www.CatalinaExpress.com, make a reservation and then present their printed Free Pass at time of check-in, with valid ID.
Catalina Express is extending the gift of birthday travel as a way of thanking the public for its support of the company that has ferried 22 million passengers between the mainland and Catalina over the past 30 years. This year marks the anniversary of Catalina Express, which began as a fledgling company with its first vessel – a modified sport- fishing boat that could carry 60 passengers. Its current fleet comprises eight high-speed vessels, making Catalina Express an unparalleled resource in Southern California, and one of the world’s most respected ferry fleets.
As Catalina Express celebrates its 30th year of operation, its crews on land and sea expect to deliver more than one million passengers—tourists and otherwise---in nearly 10,000 crossings. For information and reservations, call 800-429-4601, or visit www.CatalinaExpress.com.
