Airport's 50th Anniversary

50th Anniversary Celebration - Airport in the Sky, Catalina Island

Join pilots throughout Southern California and the Catalina Island Conservancy for a day of fun commemorating Airport in the Sky's five decades of service to general aviation. The event will be held a the Catalina Island Conservancy's Airport in the Sky on Sunday, October 18th from 10am to 4pm. 
 
Enjoy a retro landing fee of just $3.00! Also, live music, a retro-BBQ menu at the DC 3 Grill just as if it was from 50 years ago featuring Sky Burgers, Buffalo Burgers, classic baked beans and slaw.

Enjoy Jeep tours, guided loop hikes on the newly opened Trans-Catalina Trail, presentations on local aviation history, historic planes on display, aviation books and DVDs on sale, a raffle, door prizes and more!
