The 35th annual 50 mile run 12 hour cutoff; course will be closed at 5pm) crosses Catalina Island from Avalon to Two Harbors and back! 2/20   35th Annual Avalon Harbor Underwater Cleanup
USC’s Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber and Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies – Catalina Conservancy Divers are proud to host this 35th annual event. This is the only time scuba diving is allowed in Avalon Bay, with 500+ expected volunteer divers collecting trash and debris. Awards ceremony follows on Wrigley Stage with prizes & giveaways. This event will feature the exciting and historic marathon course (8 hour cutoff time), used largely since the first year, on the Catalina Island Conservancy’s lands. Come out and see the women finish the longest Polynesian canoe race in the continental U.S., 26 miles from Newport Beach to Avalon, on Saturday, at Casino Point. 12/11   3rd Annual Catalina Island Museum Holiday Symphony Concert
This annual Holiday Concert features an ensemble from one of the West Coast’s top universities, the distinguished Stanford Symphony Orchestra. The Holiday Symphony Concert will feature classical music as well as holiday favorites. Tickets: free for museum members and children 17 and under. General admission tickets will also be available. Please join us for the Inaugural Holiday Home Tour hosted by the Catalina Island Medical Center Foundation. On Saturday, December 12th, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, visit four magnificent and unique Avalon homes as well as a hidden wine cellar!  The tour will kick off with refreshments at the Catalina Island Yacht Club. Transportation between locations will be provided; not all homes are ADA accessible.
