Family Fun Kayak Information

Family Fun Kayak Races during the Flying Fish Festival
9:30 am Saturday, June 5th, 2010.  FREE event - Advance Sign up required.
Location: Descanso Beach (just beyond the Casino Building).

The Races:
A fun mix of kayak paddling and silly stuff. Participants must be comfortable in the water. Plan on 1 hour activity.
Sign up as groups of 2 (1 adult/1 child) or more.
Mom and/or Dad and kids (kids must have at least one parent participate).
We'll put groups together to make 7 teams of 6, or field your own team of 6.
Limited to 42 participants. Liability waivers must be signed.

Orientation and safety talk is included. All participants must wear Coast Guard approved pfd's (provided)

What to wear/bring:
Wear bathing suits or shorts that can get wet; shower shoes,
water sandals, etc. and a towel and a change of clothes.

7:45pm - 9:45pm Sunday, June 6th, 2010  $45 per person

Lockers are available (1st come, 1st served) $1 each entry.
Restrooms, changing rooms, fresh water rinse-off shower
Descanso Beach Club Restaurant open for lunch and dinner.
